KYUEM?

I'm lame..I cant keep up with a blog...I was thinking of writing once a week...but once a month would be more feasible.

Wish my blog is more like Aud's or Shida's..
But this is me..

So...

I was going to talk about my January.
It has been awesome n colourful seriously! Not the least bit boring, xcept for d 1st week...n maybe the last? I rmbr saying sumting like "I'm freaking bored of college" to Iylia while in the cafe few days ago...I guess the monotony of waking up n going to classes got me down.
I still like my subjects though...finally finally could grasp Further after 1 week of struggling. No joke!

On a sombre note, I got rejected from Cambridge after weeks of faint hope that maybe, jz maybe...it was meant to be. I was sad for approximately 2 hours but 100% cheered up after a singing fest wt Iylia and dinner with H. God knows best for me. =)

The result of KYUEM'S student council election was announced today...didn't surprise me at all, the fact that certain students with better n more convincing manifestos have been passed over for those who could barely string words together to convey their message.

The structure of a closed community...quite predictable.
We vote for what we know, what we are comfortable with and what we want to see.
We vote for people we have common grounds with, most similar to us simply because of the fear of unknown.

On the other end of spectrum, those who could speak well are not necessarily the most efficient , responsible and trustworthy. Just like in debating, u twist words around (still with factual info though) to make ur team look good n ur opponent look bad.

So congrats to the new SC members n good luck!

I still think a certain person should improve his...ahem...language proficiency. Not that mine is completely Queen Elizabeth English, I talk pasar also marr...mixture of chinese slangs I pick up in secondary skool, n malay slangs I pick up in college.
Which reminds me of IELTS nxt week.

I should sleep now.
